Our pick of the best public events during Copenhagen Fashion Week 2026.

No invitation, no problem: Your CPHFW guide

Copenhagen Fashion Week may be known for exclusive shows and carefully guarded guest lists, but there are still plenty of ways to join in without an invitation.

From 3 to 7 August, the city will host street parties, open showrooms, exhibitions, talks and screenings. We have gone through the programme and picked the public events we think are most worth your time.

Monday: Music in the city centre

Mads Nørgaard Street Party

Cold drinks, DJ sets from Coco O and Mads B and a live performance by When Saints Go Machine take over Niels Hemmingsens Gade on Monday evening.

Tuesday: Open doors and new ideas

Ganni Open House

The collaboration between Ganni and emerging Danish brand Stem is at the centre of this afternoon at the brand’s Copenhagen showroom.

Drop in between 13.00 and 17.00 to see the installation and explore the materials and results of the collaboration. At 15.00, Ganni Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup joins Stem for a conversation about innovation and material experimentation, followed by drinks.

66°North enters the Storm

A panel talk, live performances and DJ sets mark the opening of 66°North’s new Copenhagen flagship store.

The programme starts with a conversation about retail and community, followed by music from Lulu Rouge, Bette, Kaddi Sawaneh, KUNDO and Sexy Lazer.

Refreshments are provided by Café Dan Turell and The Electric Corner, with ice cream from Siciliansk Is.

Zalando Visionary Space

Fashion, technology and craft meet in a two day exhibition at Copenhagen Contemporary.

The space brings together work by current and previous Zalando Visionary Award winners, including INSTITUTION, IAMISIGO, Sinéad O’Dwyer and Paolina Russo. The programme also includes workshops, a live runway broadcast and a live recording of The Perfect X with Camille Charrière.

The main exhibition is open to everyone, while selected workshops require registration. Complimentary shuttle buses run from Rådhuspladsen to Copenhagen Contemporary on both days.

Wednesday: New talent and late night Y2K

CPHFW Creative Hub

Papirøen becomes a public meeting place for installations, workshops, talks, screenings and pop-ups on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Thursday morning, the NEWTALENT and One to Watch pop-up gives visitors the chance to shop archive and previous-season pieces from Stem, Sson, Renè, Taus and Serena and meet some of the designers behind the brands.

Von Dutch: After Hours CPHFW

Copenhagen’s underground DJs provide the soundtrack when Von Dutch brings its Y2K universe to the aesthetic night club Alexandra Hus.

Thursday: Runway shows, art and a night out

1664 x Copenhagen Fashion Week Viewing Party

Selected live and recorded shows from the official schedule will be screened at Normann Copenhagen throughout the afternoon.

There are no tickets and no waitlist. Visitors can simply drop in, watch the runway and have a chilled 1664, with alcohol-free options also available.

The Ray-Ban Red Experience

An immersive installation at Politikens Hus turns Ray-Ban’s signature red into art, products and interactive experiences.

Doors open at 15.00, giving visitors time to explore the space. Artist Emil Krog creates a live artwork from 17.00 to 19.00, followed by a DJ set from FEDTY until 22.00.

Copenhagen Contemporary Summer Nights

Free access to art, fashion and music turns Copenhagen Contemporary into one of Thursday evening’s most relaxed Fashion Week stops.

Entry includes the current exhibitions, among them Shapeshifters: Magic in Art & Fashion, featuring 12 emerging talents from the Nordic fashion scene.

There will also be DJ sets and drinks available from Darcy’s. And with the harbour just outside, a swim is not entirely out of the question.

Friday: Slow down, then stay out late

After the Rush

Movement, recovery and breakfast offer a quieter start to the final morning of Fashion Week at One Thirty Labs.

The programme includes smaller sessions focused on presence and recovery, alongside healthy drinks and supplements. The morning is hosted with the founders of inclusive underwear brand Shades and multicultural skincare brand Roots of Kin.

Fine Chaos Funeral Party

Sega Bodega leads the line-up as Fine Chaos marks the end of its five-and-a-half-year run with one final event at Hangaren.

Farveblind, Elias Gozal, Ida Aya, DJ 2LATE and Miss Puppy are also on the programme.
