3 restaurant festivals are hitting the culinary scene in February
If you're a foodie who loves to save money, you should definitely keep reading
Grey, cold and wet are often the words used to describe February in Denmark. Instead of hibernating, Copenhagen’s culinary scene turns the month into an invitation to head out and explore the city’s restaurants. Across the capital, chefs are opening their doors with special menus, collaborations and prices that make it easier to discover both new favourites and long time classics.
Here is your guide to three restaurant festivals in Copenhagen this February, with inspiration on where to go and how to get a table.
Dining Week

This is the largest restaurant festival in the Nordic countries and offers a strong selection of high end restaurants, some even with Michelin recognition. It is therefore a great opportunity if you want to try exclusive menus and visit unique locations.
The concept is simple: either three courses for 250 kroner, five servings for 350 kroner, or a tasting menu for 525 kroner. This makes it possible to choose a more casual experience or go all in and you can also choose between lunch or dinner.
One of the highlights might be the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant Radio, founded by NOMA co-founder Claus Meyer. The restaurant is part of the New Nordic food movement, which aims to highlight and promote excellent Danish producers and ingredients, with a strong focus on seasonality.
Dining Week runs from 6-15 February 2026 and you can book your table here.
Dinner Days

Many restaurants and cafés use the booking platform DinnerBooking, which led to the creation of DinnerDays in 2015. Since then, the festival has taken place twice a year. Prices typically range from 245 to 520 kroner, depending on whether you choose a menu of three to ten dishes.
MASH is one of the participating restaurants and is almost an institution on the Copenhagen dining scene, known for its focus on high-quality beef. During DinnerDays, they have created a special menu where you can sink your teeth into a grass fed Angus ribeye steak from Uruguay, alongside other mouthwatering dishes.
If you are more interested in a casual and authentic Danish experience in the heart of Nyhavn, Nyhavn 41 offers a great smørrebrød deal during the festival. Or why not try both and combine a lunch and dinner experience?
DinnerDays runs from 6-15 February 2026 and you can book your table here.
Days of Tasting

This recurring event is a collaboration between 20 well-regarded restaurants in Copenhagen, and this year it runs throughout all of February, rather than the usual week-long experience. Prices are divided into four categories: 250 kroner, 350 kroner, 450 kroner, and 650 kroner.
The participating restaurants are very diverse, ranging from New Nordic cuisine to a wide variety of international flavours, making it easy to find a place that suits your taste. The festival places strong emphasis on creating authentic dining experiences and celebrating a shared love of food with guests.
At the very affordable end, the restaurant Mother offers a menu for 250 kroner, including bruschetta made with sourdough bread from the local bakery Andersen & Maillard, a choice of three different main courses, and affogato for dessert. All dishes are also available as vegetarian options.
Days of Tasting runs from 1-27 February 2026 and you can book your table here.
